20 To go before qualifying for a review (09/08/2003)

20 to go before qualifying for a review!

At 130 registrations, we are now just 20 registrations away from BT reviewing our exchange. Why is this so important? It's the first step towards getting Broadband! At the moment we don't have a 'trigger' level. Which means we don't have a specific number of registrations we need to get before we get Broadband! When we hit 150 registrations, BT will review the cost of upgrading the exchange and hopefully assign us a trigger level to aim for. This can be anything from 150 upto 500 registrations (or no trigger at all).

Unfortunately the review takes an unknown length of time but the sooner we get to 150 registrations the sooner we will be sure of a review. There is still a possibility that our trigger will be 150 because we are so close to Elgin which already has ADSL Broadband. However there is no way to know until we get a review!

20 registrations isn't much to ask for! Don't sit back waiting to see what happens or think that someone else will register for you! Every registration counts! Those living in Urquhart have already recieved the new pink leaflets, and Lhanbryde are scheduled to get theirs delivered next week! We need everyone, to register an interest. NOW!

Remember, registering you interest on this site is just like signing a petition. You are NOT placing an order for anything!

(Ed: What am I doing inside on such a HOT day.. phew!)
