SpeyBay date pulled forward (05/06/2004)

 Speybay date pulled forward!!

It's true.. On the same day as Carron is given an RFS date BT announced that the SpeyBay RFS date would be moved forward to the 31th August 2005. I admit this is not a big move forward but it is a step in the right direction.

Meanwhile the 31st of August 2005 is also the date for Carron to get Broadband. Let's hope BT pull these days further forward again.. That's far too long to wait IMHO.

Latest Progress in Moray:

  Longmorn - Goes Live 6th June 2004!
  Brodie - Goes Live 6th June 2004!
  Dufftown - Goes Live 4th August 2004!
  Aberlour - Goes Live 8th August 2004!
  Alves - Goes Live 8th August 2004!
  Keith - Goes Live 11th August 2004!
  Rothes - Goes Live 24th November 2004!
  Glenlivet - Goes Live 18th December 2004!
  SpeyBay - Goes Live 31st August 2005!
  Carron - Goes Live 31st August 2005!

Just incase anyone was in any doubt.. ADSL Broadband is available in Lhanbryde! You can place your order with your ISP now and me up and running within days! I've now been connected for 7 days and have transferred over 20Gb of data!

Normal activation from the time you place your order is about 7-10 days, and most of the orders placed on or before the exchange upgrade should have been activated/up and running yesterday! Some lines have been upgraded earlier than this.. It's just a case of when a BT engineer decides to change your lien over, but under normal circumstances you shouldn't have to wait any longer than about 10 days. If you currently have ISDN it's worth taking a look at our forums where you can see what issues you have to deal with in order to upgrade to ADSL from ISDN.
